This time of year we are filled with the sights and sounds of the Holiday Season and renewed hopes and dreams of  somehow all living peacefully on this magnificent Planet.  Alas Peace is elusive it seems for all of us. Even the birds have their own life dramas and every once in a while , some little magic of justice is wrought.

In the Bird Christmas Carol, the Doves play the part of Scrooge and the Cratchet's are played by the Sparrows.  Consider the Cardinal and the Red bellied Woodpecker as the enforcing Spirits. As in Mr. Dickens's version , this story also has a happy ending
