A Peaceful Sunday morning and the normal feeding cycles is eagerly engaged. This would be the last day of this now normal routine.

Peaceful no more as the parents try to drive off a very large Crow on the fence right behind the chicks. Notice that the Chicks lay perfectly still while this drama played out. A Blue Jay  gets into the act as well..

 Well I came to the rescue once again, this time waving a broom at the Crow on the fence. Saving these chicks is getting to be a full time job.  Even though I am like a good Godfather to them, they still protest when I come to the nest to adjust the camera

Mi and Mishado are just about ready to fly and at this time I was sure they would leave the nest in a day or two. I did not expect it to end as it would on Monday. Here they are demonstrating their newfound abilities.
